Retention period
Unless a more specific storage period has been specified in this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for data processing ceases to apply. If you assert a justified request for erasure or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be erased, provided we have no other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, erasure will take place after these reasons cease to apply.
General information on the legal basis for data processing on this website
Provided you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR, provided special categories of data are processed in accordance with Art. 9(1) GDPR. In the event of explicit consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, the data processing is also carried out on the basis of Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR. If you have consented to the storage of cookies or to access to information on your end device (e.g. via device fingerprinting), the data processing is additionally carried out on the basis of Section 25(1) TDDDG. Consent may be revoked at any time. If your data is required for the performance of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Furthermore, we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR if it is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation. Data processing may also be carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legal bases relevant in each individual case are informed about in the following paragraphs of this privacy policy.
Recipients of personal data
As part of our business activities, we work with various external bodies. In some cases, this also requires the transfer of personal data to these external bodies. We only pass on personal data to external bodies if this is necessary for the performance of a contract, if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. passing on data to tax authorities), if we have a legitimate interest in the disclosure pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, or if another legal basis permits the data transfer. When using data processors, we only pass on our customers' personal data on the basis of a valid data processing agreement. In the case of joint processing, a joint controllership agreement is concluded.
Withdrawal of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can revoke consent that has already been given at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
IF PROCESSING IS BASED ON ART. 6(1)(E) OR (F) GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT, ON GROUNDS RELATING TO YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION, AT ANY TIME TO PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR AFFECTED PERSONAL DATA UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21(1) GDPR).
IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR SUCH MARKETING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING TO THE EXTENT THAT IT IS ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL SUBSEQUENTLY NO LONGER BE USED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21 PARA. 2 GDPR).
Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
In the event of infringements of the GDPR, data subjects shall have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement. The right to lodge a complaint shall be without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a standard, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent that it is technically feasible.
Access, rectification and erasure
In accordance with the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free-of-charge information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing, and, where applicable, a right to the rectification or erasure of this data. You can contact us at any time regarding this matter or if you have any further questions on the subject of personal data.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time for this purpose. The right to restriction of processing applies in the following cases:
- If you contest the accuracy of your personal data stored with us, we generally require time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data was or is unlawful, you may request the restriction of data processing instead of erasure.
- When we no longer need your personal data, but you require it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of its erasure.
- If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Article 21(1) GDPR, a balancing exercise must be carried out between your interests and ours. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests override the other, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, such data may – with the exception of storage – only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.
SSL or TLS encryption
For reasons of security and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of the browser changes from „http://“ to „https://“ and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.
When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Objection to promotional emails
The use of contact details published in the context of the imprint obligation for sending unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby objected to. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam emails.
4. Data collection on this website
Cookies
Our website uses so-called „cookies“. Cookies are small data packets and do not cause any damage to your device. They are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or your web browser carries out an automatic deletion.
Cookies can originate from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services from third-party companies within websites (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies have various functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping basket function or the display of videos). Other cookies can be used to evaluate user behaviour or for advertising purposes.
Cookies that are required for the electronic communication process, for the provision of certain functions requested by you (e.g. for the shopping basket function) or for the optimisation of the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG); the consent can be revoked at any time.
You can configure your browser to notify you about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies on a case-by-case basis, exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Deactivating cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
Should further cookies and services be used on this website, you can find details of this in this privacy policy.

The data collected in this way are stored until you ask us to delete them, delete the Real Cookie Banner cookie yourself or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Real Cookie Banner is used to obtain the legally required consents for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Server request time
- IP address
These data will not be merged with other data sources.
The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of their website – for this purpose, the server log files must be collected.
Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, provided your request is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of enquiries directed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time.
The data you enter into the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Enquiry by email, telephone or fax
If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, your enquiry, including all personal data resulting therefrom (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We will not pass on these data without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, provided your request is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Communication via WhatsApp
For communication with our customers and other third parties, we use, among other things, the instant messaging service WhatsApp. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland.
Communication takes place via end-to-end encryption (peer-to-peer), which prevents WhatsApp or any other third parties from gaining access to the communication content. However, WhatsApp gains access to metadata generated in the course of the communication process (e.g. sender, recipient and time). We also point out that, according to its own statements, WhatsApp shares personal data of its users with its US-based parent company Meta. Further details on data processing can be found in WhatsApp's privacy policy at: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/#privacy-policy.
The use of WhatsApp is based on our legitimate interest in the fastest and most effective possible communication with customers, prospective clients and other business and contractual partners (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where corresponding consent has been requested, data processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent; this can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.
The communication content exchanged between you and us on WhatsApp will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
The company is certified under the „EU-US Data Privacy Framework“ (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the US designed to ensure compliance with European data protection standards when processing data in the US. Further information on this can be obtained from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/7735.
We use the WhatsApp Business variant.
Data transmission to the USA is based on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses. Details can be found here: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/business-data-transfer-addendum.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the option to book appointments. Where appropriate consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. Consent may be revoked at any time.
Further details can be found in the provider's privacy policy at https://meetergo.com/datenschutz/.

5. Analytics tools and advertising
Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited („Google“), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics allows website operators to analyse the behaviour of website visitors. In doing so, the website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, length of stay, operating systems used and the user's origin. This data is assigned to the user's respective terminal device. No assignment to a user ID takes place.
Furthermore, Google Analytics allows us to record your mouse and scroll movements and clicks, among other things. In addition, Google Analytics uses various modelling approaches to supplement the collected datasets and employs machine learning technologies in data analysis.
Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analysing user behaviour (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and Section 25 para. 1 TDDDG. Consent may be revoked at any time.
Data transmission to the USA is based on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses. Details can be found here: https://business.safety.google/adscontrollerterms/sccs/.

Further information on this can be obtained from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/5780.
IP anonymisation
Google Analytics IP anonymisation is enabled. This means your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data held by Google.
Browser Plugin
You can prevent the collection and processing of your data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Matomo
This website uses the open-source web analytics service Matomo.
Using Matomo, we are able to collect and analyse data on the use of our website by visitors. This enables us, amongst other things, to find out when specific page views occurred and which region they came from. In addition, we collect various log files (e.g. IP address, referrer, browsers and operating systems used) and can measure whether our website visitors perform certain actions (e.g. clicks, purchases and the like).
The use of this analysis tool is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its web offering and its advertising. Where corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's terminal equipment (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Consent may be revoked at any time.
IP anonymisation
When using Matomo for analysis, we employ IP anonymisation. Your IP address is shortened prior to analysis, meaning it can no longer be directly linked to you.
Hosting
We host Matomo exclusively on our own servers, meaning all analytical data remains with us and is not passed on.
Google Ads
The website operator uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising programme of Google Ireland Limited („Google“), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Ads enables us to display advertisements in the Google search engine or on third-party websites when the user enters certain search terms on Google (keyword targeting). Furthermore, targeted advertisements can be displayed based on the user data available on Google (e.g., location data and interests) (audience targeting). As website operators, we can evaluate this data quantitatively by, for example, analysing which search terms led to the display of our advertisements and how many advertisements resulted in corresponding clicks.
The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and Section 25 para. 1 TDDDG. Consent may be revoked at any time.
Data transmission to the USA is based on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses. Details can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks and https://business.safety.google/controllerterms/.

This website uses the features of Google Ads Remarketing. The provider is Google Ireland Limited („Google“), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
With Google Ads Remarketing, we can assign specific target groups to people who interact with our online offering in order to subsequently display interest-based advertising in the Google advertising network (remarketing or retargeting).
Furthermore, the advertising audiences created with Google Ads Remarketing can be linked to Google’s cross-device features. In this way, interest-based, personalized advertising messages that have been adapted to you based on your previous usage and browsing behavior on one device (e.g., mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g., tablet or PC).
If you have a Google account, you can object to personalized advertising at the following link: https://adssettings.google.com/anonymous?hl=de.
The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and Section 25 para. 1 TDDDG. Consent may be revoked at any time.

Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel)
This website uses the visitor action pixel from Meta for conversion measurement. The provider of this service is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Dublin, D04 X2K5, Ireland. However, according to Meta, the collected data is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.
This allows the behaviour of site visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Meta ad. As a result, the effectiveness of Meta ads can be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes, and future advertising measures can be optimised.
The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Meta, so that a connection to the respective user profile on Facebook or Instagram is possible and Meta uses the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the Meta Data Policy (https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/) can be used. This allows Meta to enable the display of advertisements on Facebook or Instagram pages and other advertising channels. We, as page operators, cannot influence this use of the data.
The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and Section 25 para. 1 TDDDG. Consent may be revoked at any time.
Insofar as personal data is collected on our website with the help of the tool described here and forwarded to Meta, we and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road Dublin 4, Dublin, D04 X2K5, Ireland are joint controllers for this data processing (Art. 26 GDPR). This joint control is exclusively restricted to the collection of the data and its transfer to Meta. The processing carried out by Meta after the transfer does not form part of the joint control. The obligations incumbent upon us jointly have been set out in a joint controllership agreement. The wording of the agreement can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. Under this agreement, we are responsible for providing data protection information when using the Meta tool and for the data-protection-compliant implementation of the tool on our website. Meta is responsible for the data security of Meta products. Data subject rights (e.g. requests for access) regarding the data processed on Facebook or Instagram can be exercised directly with Meta. If you exercise your data subject rights with us, we are obliged to forward them to Meta.

The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the US designed to ensure compliance with European data protection standards when processing data in the US. Every company certified under the DPF undertakes to comply with these data protection standards. LinkedIn Insight Tag
This website uses the LinkedIn Insight Tag. The provider of this service is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.
Data processing by LinkedIn Insight Tag
Using the LinkedIn Insight Tag, we receive information about our website visitors. If a website visitor is registered on LinkedIn, we can, among other things, analyse the professional key data (e.g. career level, company size, country, location, industry and job title) of our website visitors and thus better tailor our site to the respective target groups. Furthermore, we can use LinkedIn Insight Tags to measure whether visitors to our websites make a purchase or take another action (conversion tracking). Conversion tracking can also take place across devices (e.g. from PC to tablet). The LinkedIn Insight Tag also offers a retargeting function, which we can use to display targeted advertising to our website visitors outside the website, whereby, according to LinkedIn, no identification of the advertising recipient takes place.
LinkedIn itself also collects so-called log files (URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser characteristics, and time of access). IP addresses are truncated or (where they are used to reach LinkedIn members across different devices) hashed (pseudonymised). LinkedIn members’ direct identifiers are deleted by LinkedIn after seven days. The remaining pseudonymised data is then deleted within 180 days.
The data collected by LinkedIn cannot be associated with specific individuals by us as website operators. LinkedIn will store the collected personal data of website visitors on its servers in the USA and use it for its own advertising purposes. For details, please refer to LinkedIn's privacy policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy#choices-oblig.

6. Newsletter
Newsletter data
If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter offered on the website, we will need your email address and information that enables us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you consent to receiving the newsletter. No further data is collected, or only on a voluntary basis. We use newsletter service providers, as described below, to manage the newsletter.
Brevo
This website uses Brevo for sending newsletters. The provider is Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany.
Brevo is a service which can be used, among other things, to organise and analyse the sending of newsletters. The data you enter for the purpose of receiving the newsletter is stored on the servers of Sendinblue GmbH in Germany.
Data analysis by Brevo
With the help of Brevo, we are able to analyse our newsletter campaigns. This allows us, for example, to see whether a newsletter message has been opened and, if so, which links have been clicked. In this way, we can determine, amongst other things, which links have been clicked on particularly often.
We can also see whether certain predefined actions were carried out after the newsletter was opened or clicked on (conversion rate). For example, we can see whether you made a purchase after clicking on the newsletter.
Brevo also enables us to segment („cluster“) newsletter subscribers based on various categories. For example, subscribers can be grouped by age, gender or place of residence. In this way, newsletters can be better tailored to the respective target audiences.
If you do not wish Brevo to analyse your data, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a link for this purpose in every newsletter message.
For detailed information on Brevo’s features, please see the following link: https://www.brevo.com/de/newsletter-software/.
Legal basis
Data processing is carried out on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). You may withdraw this consent at any time. The lawfulness of any data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the withdrawal of consent.
Retention period
The data you have provided to us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter, and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list once you have unsubscribed. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.
Once you have unsubscribed from the newsletter mailing list, your email address may be stored on a blacklist by us or the newsletter service provider, where necessary to prevent future mailings. The data on the blacklist is used solely for this purpose and is not combined with any other data. This serves both your interests and our interest in complying with legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). There is no time limit on the retention of data on the blacklist. You may object to the storage, provided your interests override our legitimate interest.
